Wider than wide brimmed hats are having (another) moment. The runways for Spring Summer were teeming with statement headwear but the French designer who seems to have cut through the straw is Simon Porte Jacquemus - who we j'adore..... His minimal but quirky styling makes us happy chicas - there is a lot of detail in the pieces to ponder and you can always feel a sense of fun - which is what we are drawn to. His massssssively brimmed hat "Le Chapeau Bomba" has had a lot of social attention - but the shot we love the most is the one where he is donning it below.
We must also acknowledge this gorgeous black and white photo by Louise Dahl-Wolfe - the incredible pioneering femme fashion photographer, who took this shot for Harper's Bazaar in 1964.
